Ok, it has been a while. So I think I will update you now and then half way through August.

The largest event I have helped with since my last update was VBS. I think I already mentioned this but I filmed for the daily highlight videos. I was able to use my Youth Pastor's camera (NEX-VG10), the church's MacBook Pro, my Youth Pastor's iMac (16GB of ram), and my friends Rhode Shotgun mic. Altogether it was quite the production! I have also started using Instagram more. I don't know if you have ever used Instagram but it is a really awesome app. Follow me @ajbailey564.

This update is a little over due, but here it is:

I am now the official camera man for VBS at my church this year! I am really excited to get that position. I do have a few people helping me with editing and carrying equipment, but the the job of operating the camera and directing is mine!
I have not done anything with my screenplay or Lost in about a month. I really need to work on that. I guess I will wait until school is over to make those priorities.

I know that wasn't much of an update. I promise it will get more interesting when i have more free time to work on projects over the summer.

Ok. So I still have to edit LOST, I really should do that soon. Also I have gotten to the AV part in a computer class I am taking this semester! YEAH!! But as for many of my other projects I really have not done much with them. I still have the one that I am writing a script for. But I do have another idea about a documentary like movie I could do, but I really do not have the equipment for that.

Ok, I have decided I am not even going to try to blog weekly. I am going to start off by giving an update every month, the first week of the month. Then hopefully someday I will be able to begin updating you more often, But for now, it is once a month, unless I have something really cool to post.

Update...
So I am writing a screenplay (I think I mentioned that before). I think screenplay writing is the hardest part of making a movie. Any pointers? So I am trying to get that moving along. Also I have not yet edited my "Lost" film, as I think I have mentioned, the files are ".MTS" files (HD), therefore my Windows XP computer doesn't allow me to edit them. So I need to edit them at my church if I get a chance.

My update for a short film idea I have, I am still not going to tell you what the plot is. But I will say that I have arranged to meet with a friend of mine who is also in the filmmaking business and we are planning on discussing my idea and what the next steps should be. So I'll keep you updated on that.
